DISCLAIMER: whatever you guys do, please don’t engage in arguments regarding what I am about to say. [This post is simply a personal SKIN-CARE TIP that I’d like to share and has nothing to do with your feelings, beliefs, or opinions.] After doing a million beauty interviews, I notice editors always ask “What’s your skin-care secret?” This question, I believe, is usually a set up for me to promote some “magical” new product – and somehow, I always kinda feel guilty for not having the expected answer. The truth is: I eat a plant-based diet. And that’s it, really. I prefer to take care of my skin from the inside out. Yeah, of course, I wash my face and such, but I think it silly to invest $100 into face creams that act more as a placebo than actually fix a problem. Those companies are a business. But Mother Nature is science. Toxin levels in blood tests [such as IgG, ESR and RA factors] have shown mind-blowing positive results in those who’ve moved from a processed food diet to a vegan diet – which means: great news for anyone out there suffering from hives, acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis!! So basically, you don’t have to be a hippy, or one of those overbearing vegans by choosing to take meat+dairy out of your diet.
